The original brief from our valued client was to install a modern lift from the ground floor to the first floor of their period property. The request was to install the lift half in the existing staircase and part way into the above landing area. From the two original photographs you will see that this was a complex job which required an eye for detail and very specialised carpentry works. We worked closely with the lift engineers to achieve the specific dimensions and detail required to facilitate the lift. In all, the completed work took approximately 6 weeks inclusive of the fitting of the lift itself and final finishes. We understand from our client that they are delighted with the standard of workmanship and the completed project.
