We put every effort into ensuring all of our works are managed and carried out to the highest safety standards. Site specific Risk Assessments are carried out for planned works and Dynamic Risk Assessments are utilised for reactive maintenance works.
Our ongoing aims include
- Provide adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from our work activities;
- Consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety;
- Provide and maintain safe plant and equipment;
- Ensure safe handling and use of substances;
- Provide information, instruction and supervision for employees;
- Ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks, and to give them adequate training;
- Prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill health;
- Maintain safe and healthy working conditions; and
- Review and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals.
In our continued efforts to maintain a strict compliance with Health & Safety Regulations and relentless training, Chew Valley Construction continually invest in providing training courses to ensure our Engineers are competent in carrying out their day to day tasks for our valued clients.
Element Building Management Ltd are our in house Health & Safety Consultant – They regularly attend sites and undertake audits of our day to day operations to ensure we are compliant and continue to be.
